ARUP Awarded CDC Contract for Bird Flu Test Development
ARUP Laboratories has been selected by the CDC as a formal partner in the development of a test for avian influenza A (H5N1), or bird flu, the CDC said during a media briefing on Thursday. ARUP is one of five lab partners. The others are Quest Diagnostics, Labcorp, Aegis Sciences, and Ginkgo Bioworks.

Park City Angels make additional investment in Light Line Medical
Park City Angels is excited to announce that our members have made an additional investment in Light Line Medical, Inc.! Since our initial investment, Light Line Medical has filed a 510(k) premarket application notification for the Light Line Peritoneal PhotoDisinfectionSystem. This is significant because all testing was completed on “production units.” Light Line has an executed Term Sheet for a $20M Series that will enable it to commercialize the peritoneal dialysis product and develop its technology in the Foley/urinary catheter.
