Lucia Irazabal

Lucia has 10 years of experience in the medical device industry. She has led several projects from concept to launch, resulting in the commercialization of multiple vascular and endovascular implants. Given her interest in the intersection of medicine, engineering, and business, she has a cohesive understanding of all sides of product development: R&D, Marketing, Regulatory, Clinical, Manufacturing, and Operations. She is passionate about maximizing the impact of research on the community, through the availability of new and improved therapies and for faculty, through the generation of additional revenue to support their efforts. Lucia received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from The Catholic University of America, an MBA and a Graduate Certificate in Information Systems from the University of Utah.
